DAY 1 USA – Havana   Private Residence (or Hotel option)

• Flights USA to Havana
• Airport greeting by Guide and Drive; transfer to Old Havana
• Enjoy snacks and drinks with people-watching at Plaza Vieja
• Specialist-guided art, architecture, cultural, history, photography walking tour of Old Havana
• Visit Havana's four main plazas: Plaza Vieja, Plaza de las Armas, Plaza San Francisco and Plaza Catedral
• Lunch at café with University of Havana political science professor
• Continue walking tour of Old Havana, with visits to Parque Central, Museum of the Revolution and Havana Fine Arts Museum
• Dinner at paladar, one of Havana's best private family-run restaurants that have fueled rapid economic growth since 2008
• Musical evening on the streets of Old Havana (or optional Tropicana Nightclub show***)

DAY 2 Havana   Private Residence (or Hotel option)

• Salsa dance lesson
• Classic American car tour of greater Havana - 1 hour ending on the Malecon (“Embarcadero,” Havana’s social gathering place), with a brief walk to the iconic Hotel Nacional, HQ of the Cuban Revolution, home to the Mob, the Mafia, international movie stars, and glitterati during Havana’s “Roaring ‘50’s”
• Lunch at café
• Visit the Havana community of Jaimanitas for a walking tour through the unique neighborhood of “Fusterlandia,” the remarkable ceramic art project of “The Picasso of Cuba” Jose Fuster
• Dinner at paladar
• Evening of music and art at the world renown Fabrica de Arte Cubano

DAY 3 Havana - Viñales   Private Residence (or Hotel option)

• Early breakfast at lodging
• Transfer to Viñales via the orchid gardens and river of the Soroa region
• Viewpoint of the Valley at Balcon de Valle
• Tour and lunch at a family-operated sustainable produce farm
• Horseback ride or hike through the mogotes (karst formations) of the Viñales Valley to visit tobacco plantation 
• Tour Viñales town
• Check-in to lodging and free time

DAY 4 Viñales - Havana   Private Residence (or Hotel option)

• Breakfast at lodging
• Boat ride through the Cueva del Indio
• Transfer back toward Havana via a visit to the UNESCO BIOSPHERE and agricultural community of Las Terrazas; walk in the Terrazas rainforest with resident naturalist; bird watching and zipline options available

• Visit provocative artist’s home art gallery

• Buena Vista Social Club show

DAY 5 Havana   Private Residence

• Breakfast at lodging
• Walk in the shoes of an average Cuban, visit rations store and local market
• Private cooking and mojito lesson followed by lunch
• Transfer to Callejon de Hamel, the Havana home of Cuba’s predominant Santeria spiritual faith (akin to Haiti’s Voodoo)
• Enjoy the Sunday-only Hamel street celebration featuring high-tempo percussion, dance and song
• Take a music lesson in traditional Cuban instruments or learn a Cuban rhythm in an instrument of your choosing
• Enjoy our festive Farewell Cuba! dinner at one of our favorite paladares
• Sunday-only late-night salsa dance frenzy and show under the stars on the Malecon at Club 1830; or
• Visit the rooftop Jazz Club on the Malecon for late-night jazz fusion, drinks and snacks

DAY 6 Havana - USA

• Brief boat ride across the Harbor to deliver gifts of badly-needed OTC medical supplies and children’s medicines to the community of Regla
• Lunch at café
• Airport transfer
• Farewell Cuba

Booking Change / Cancellation Policy: Cancel or change your trip for another without charge to 60 days before departure for a full trip credit until December 1, 2022.

Change without Fees: If you book now but have to cancel your trip, you’ll receive a travel credit in the full amount you paid for your vacation that can be used for any CTAG destination or itinerary in the future.  If hotel or other lodging prices are higher at the time of rebooking, you will have to pay the difference.
